1. Breaded fish – coating rules

Cut the marinated and seasoned fish into smaller pieces and place them into the coating mix using tongs. Coat the fish according to the following instructions: pick up, press down, flip. First pick up the fish and bread it, lightly press the breading onto the fish and flip the fish to the other side so that the breading covers the fish on all sides. Repeat this set of steps 6 times.

2. Coat smoothly and efficiently

Shake off excess coating and place the fish pieces in the water. Then put the fish back in the breading.

Gently separate the pieces by lifting them from the bottom. Remember to only touch the fish through the breading – this will keep your hands dry, allowing you to do the breading simply and effectively.

3. Get a crunchy breading effect

This time coat the fish without pressing it down – pick up the pieces of fish by lightly coating them with the breading and flip gently. This will ensure that the breading coats the fish on all sides. Repeat these steps 6 times.

4. Shake off excess breading

Grab the two pieces of fish by the ends and shake off the excess coating by slapping your wrists against each other 3 times.

5. Fry the prepared fish in a deep fryer.

Heat the fat in the deep fryer to 170 degrees Celsius. Place the basket with the breaded pieces of fish inside. Deep-fry the fish in the hot oil for approximately 4 minutes until the coating is perfectly golden.
